Are you an antiques dealer?
No, I am just an ordinary person who enjoys old things. My hobby is fixing old jewelry or making new jewelry. Any time I have made a repair to a piece, it will be specifically noted in the item description. Mostly my repairs consist of restringing old necklaces and replacing an occasional rhinestone. If I notice repairs done by the previous owner, I will also mention that in the item description.
How can you sell so inexpensively?
I purchase a lot of things at estate sales and box lots at auctions. What I don't need or want, I pass on to you at the most reasonable prices I can. Of course, I will make a small profit....this helps me to indulge in my hobby at little cost to me. I do not sell on ecrater for my living. I sell to help offset the cost of my hobby.
How do you combine purchases for shipping fees?
Ecrater does not automatically adjust the invoice when there are multiple purchases from one store. Email me after you have checked out and I will send you an email or Paypal invoice with the adjusted total which will reflect the new shipping fee.
If you are paying with Paypal and prefer to pay at the time of checkout, I will refund any excess shipping fees that you have paid. Or you can let me know you will be paying with Paypal and I will send a Paypal invoice with the adjusted total.
If you would like to know the amount of the combined shipping before you purchase, just email me with the items you would like and I will quote you the S&H price.
Is insurance available on my purchases?
Yes, insurance is available. $1.85 for up to $50.00 and $2.50 over $50.00, not including the shipping fee. Please email me after you check out and I will send you an adjusted total reflecting insurance.
Insurance is the buyer's responsibility. I have no control over the package once it is in transit.
